Club Open Days is an ECB initiative in which cricket clubs are encouraged to open their doors and host their local community in a day of cricket-related family fun.

Around 1300 clubs have signed up to take part in 2016 and there is still time to get involved if you haven’t already done so. Clubs around the country will host events featuring the likes of mini cricket tournaments, old ‘uns v young ‘uns matches, BBQs, fancy dress, music, food and loads of other stuff suitable for all the family.

The scheme is of course designed to get more people playing and enjoying cricket, and volunteering to help out at their local clubs.

If you or your child / children would like to get involved in cricket, or merely fancy going along to enjoy a drink, a bite to eat and a jolly good day out, then come along and join the fun at your local event.

We would urge all cricket clubs to sign up, have a great day and increase your membership. For any clubs that haven’t signed up but would still like to host a Club Open Day, please email at clubopendays@ecb.co.uk.
